RS2 headlight washer pump access

Headlight washers have ceased to work. From posts and digging around it seems both pumps are located at the bottom of the washer tank side by side.
If I am correct is access via wheel arch trim.

No puddles so doubt hose has come lose

Does relay cover both pumps ? (On the back row of the fuse box. Fourth one from the left. Doesn't have a relay number on the top)

May leave it but just wanted to get some BTDT

Alistair, both pumps are fitted to the same bottle as you bottle as say. Access can be gained through the wheel arch liner. I think the same relay is used for both pumps but I'm not 100% sure.

The relays are seperate. Back row, fourth from the left, third from the right is the headlamp wash relay.
It's possible as said to get to the pump via the arch but is far easier if you are able to get the car in the air and the undertray removed. The pump is held in the by means of a tight rubber grommet, pumps base is pushed into the the grommet. From memory, the pump which is closet to the rear of the car on the bottle is the headlamp washer pump.
I have my relay pulled, I really hated the mess they made (foam all over the place)

Sitting back and thinking about it, you are right Rob. Pump at the front is the headlamp washer pump, one at the rear is the windscreen pump.

at your post. The headlamp washer aren't much cop really, I don't blame you for diabling them.
