Thanks guys, I did find a wire from the ignition switch, its the one I used to power the plasma gauges, I had a bit of a breakthrough when I realised that the red wire does need to go to an "on all the time" power feed, the relays are switched by the smaller wire. (I thought the smaller wire was just for the lights in the switches
So I spliced the red wire into one of the live feeds on the big tags.
Biggest struggle goes to getting the fuse into a vacant hole in the fuse box, felt like hours laying in the footwell soaking up the damp from the carpet trying to reach the fusebox and feel the fuse into place, got it in the end though
Jas, that tip from Glynn is a good one, I'll remember that in future.

Need to find switched feed for heated seats
Nearly there with my loom install but need to find a power feed. All the big spades on the bottom of the fuse box are in use (2 rows of 4) but anyway they are on all the time meaning if I leave a seat heater on I'm looking at a flat battery.
My fuse box cover says fuse 3 is horn and heated seats but I'm not sure how to access this fuse, after all these years with quattos I still dont understand how the fuse box works
There's so much stuff crammed in under the fuse box I can't see it very well.
I also need to pick up a feed for the power to the switches for the lights, if there's an easy way to do this. My car does not have the yellow connector block on the aux relay plate, mentioned in the how-to. I can always get one from the glove box light if I have to though..
Car is a 3B.Tags: None
