I have a version of 303 something i think, and i can only get figures up to block 008.After that all blocks show the same 4 values.Since the motronic has knock sensors, map sensor etc, arent those values logged anywhere? Is there a different version of vagcom where i can see requested and attained boost pressure,or knock sensors values and degrees of retard as done in newer audi models?

NO is the short answer unfortunately... This is a shortcoming in the old versions of Motronic and OBD capability we have in the S2 and RS2. It is nothing to do with VAG-COM
I have listed all the meaningful groups on s2central.net for VAG-COM use on the engine. The two I'd love to have are MAP and MAF values - then we could log all sorts of great info in real-time to help fault-finding, chip programming, log AFR and all sorts of things.
There is that 'LOAD' parameter which is available, but I have never been able to work out how it is related to MAF, MAP and TPS values. Even if it was a direct correlation to MAF output voltage it would be somewhat useful, but I don't believe that is the case. Need to get some quality time on this subject again to get further with it.
It would be a really cool project to add improved OBD capability to the ECU code, but its a massive task and pretty much impossible without access to a great deal of information from Bosch and Audi about the ECU environment, memory map and alterations to the OBD functions required.
Sorry, but the newer Motronic systems are much more elegant in this regard.
