Today when picking my son up from school I accidently locked the central locking with the infra red key fob while the rear door was open. Not a problem I thought, pressed the button on the key fob and all locks opened. Got in drivers seat and turned key - alarm/horn sounds continously but car starts so drove home with horn sounding.
my alarm went nuts on the s2 recently when I was connecting the battery and the keys were in the ignition. key in the door to lock and unlock sorted it out but I assume you've tried all manner of combinations of key and remote to lock and unlock it? again a painfully obvious one. I'd assume you now have the battery permanently disconnected? so it hasn't reset with the absence of power?
hmmm

So far I have tried disconnecting the battery to see if it resets the alarm, this hasn't worked. I am now beginning to think that a relay may have malfunctioned so where are the relays that are associated with the alarm and the dual tone horn.
Very frustrated, wanted to attend the breakfast club meeting at RAF Cosford tomorrow, will now be trying to rectify this fault.
