    I'd also be interested to know how to do this I have a spare speedo unit brand new sitting on the side which I might get around to putting in, if so i'd like it to match up to whats on the car at present.

    That is excatly why I wont to put more miles on it. It is really annoying trying to keep to seperate histories. It is much easier just to make the speedo's the same amount of miles

    I suspect he is keen to keep the with the same mileage as the service history etc.

    I would do exactly the same thing if had to change cluster. I hate it when the mileages don't tie up....

    [QUOTE=Jonas_R;302800]Hi,

    I bought myself a RS2 speedo, but it has way to little KM on it, so I need to change the KM numbers in the instrument cluster from 133.000 to 189.000.

    why would you want to put more km on it?

    Is that for real, I can just use a Torx key? Do I need to remove anything to get to where the Torx Key is located?

    There are 2 ways. dismantle a bit and turn it by hand, or put a big torx key on the electric drill and let it turn the gear around (takes some time).

    I know how to do this.

    Will see if i can dig out the guide for you.

    Its not that hard but you do have to take the whole thing apart and remove the actually tacho from the housing.
