Avant; fitting electrical rear window control

I am about to upgrade my rear windows' manual control with electrical control. I am collecting parts for that, but I am not sure if I can re-use my rear windows and simply add window motors. I have attached a picture that illustrates a part I am about to buy. Can somebody tell me what is needed to upgrade my rear windows with electrical control, besides loom and control switch in the doorpanels?

You can reuse all the parts apart from the actual lifters (as pictured) All you need to do is remove the top section of the door and then swap out the window lifter section.

We retrofitted 4 x electric windows into my TDi Avant and it turned out to be a pretty simple and fairly easy job.

Just remember to mark round the bolts connecting the top section to the lower section of the door.
That way when you put it back together it's in the same position.
