vag com license

can anyone tell me if the license for the vag com is worth getting?
i have got the basic programme,wondered if getting the license releases more features ie adaptions reset etc

If you want to just clear faults then you don't need a license.

If you want to do much beyond this then you do. Service indicator reset on an S6 or more modern VAG requires a license.

It is worth having a license IMHO.

Didn't know you could use it at all without a license, but its worth every penny IMO. Worth having for the data logging, i find it fascinating to go for a drive then study the data afterwards, things like intake air temp, ignition timing, then import the CSV file into excel and plot graphs with the data etc. Hours of entertainment
