    Re-location of HID ballast

Having managed to "cobble" an RS2 airbox together, I have the age old problem of my HID ballast's are now in the way....

After a search through the forum to try and find a suitable place to fit these, I am know asking the question......any tips on where to move them to??....I have tried to find a place but it is very cramped around the airbox area (with box in place)...

cheers n for any help/advice given,it is really appreciated as it is giving me a headache!!!....

    Thanks folks...

I have mine in a very different place, but it is a secrect known only to myself and one or two other Jedi S2 drivers

Although since I still owe you a boost gauge holder ....I might be prepared to spill the beans in order to attain forgiveness

don't suppose you have a photo??....I cannot picture the recess...and did you have to re-drill the car or is there a 'rogue' stud lurking.....

as for the fogs, are these the chinese kits??...

          Thanks for the tips....

my fogs kit is yeah, there's pictures on here of them, sorry I don't have a picture of the recess but there is a stud there you can use with a plastic bit on it, if you remove the headlight its directly underneath.

I have had one of mine beside the RS2 airbox and the other with a hook on the second circle. Now that i only ise 1 set of hids,i have it on the place with the hook mount. But it is easy to fit the ballast between the airbox and the inner fender where the rear top circle shows

If you picture the bit of card at the front under where the headlight is I can get one of my vagparts kit ballasts there.

IIRC my ballast is just a bit further back than that...there is a stud about 3" in front of the airbox intake...

you need only to take the headlamp off.
also i just noticed that i dont have the front bit of the RS2 airbox connected so i do have some more space there...
                          oops!
