    Indicator flash on alarm

    Quick electrical dummy question!

The indicator flash when i arm and disarm my alarm / central locking is only working on one side, and sometime not at all. Its only ever flashed on the drivers side ever since i've had the car. I'm guessing a dodgy connection.

Where would the alarm have likely been wired in to the indicator circuit?
The switch or the fuseboard or randomly into the loom?
As far as I am concerned, electrics is witchcraft, so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction

Alex, It'll be via pin 49a of the the alarm flasher relay J2. I can't remember were this relay is. Here's a schematic to help you.

They have probably wired it at the wrong side og the hazard switch (L or R) instead of 49a. Worth checking anyway.

I think the flasher relay migh be the little square one that is clipped in place behind the top right hand corner where the shelf below the steering column is. I remember its a three pin device thats probably it.

          Good luck fellas.

Anyone know where this relay is i want to try and check it to see if its the cause of my indicator problem. Thanks

Its behind the shelf above the drivers footwell. It's a liitle cube shaped relay and is normally mounted in the top right hand corner behind this opening.

Its held in place with a little metal clip and has three wires attached to it from memory.
