Did you let the lifters settle for a number of hours before cranking it ?

If the head and valvegear was stable for that long before starting it OK - but yes - the manual stipulates some hours for this to make sure valve clearance is OK.

Are you sure the timing is OK between crank and cam pulleys... Oh and the cmashafts as well - the two dots need to line up.

Yes the cambelt is checked by three differen people.

The cams on the other hand is done by myself,.

This should line up the 2 dots accrosing each other ?

What happens if they dont if theyre one teeth difference ?

              Okay its verry strange.

The rockers from the right side are 7 from the 10 verry loose.

The left side on the other hand are perfect every 10.

I let the engine run for about 20 min or so.
Then i put of the valve cover.

I noticed the right side i easily put them verry far down.

What in the h.lll is wrong.

Am i nog getting oil there or what??

Its verry strange that one side is good and the other isnt.

I must say i have one 7A cam and one Normal cam.
Does this have anything to do with it ???

Did you make sure all the hydraulic tappets went back in where they cam from and that all the cam gear was in correct cylinder location etc?

All 5cyl gaskets are NOT the same AFAIK - are they ?

I can't think of any specific difference but I mean the 20V head must be different from 10V in how it mates to the engine - need to check parts system, but I'd be very surprised if all 5cyl gaskets are interchangeable.
