What is fuse nr 21 on rs2 it says on german "nachlaufpumpe"
I have the weirdest problem on my rs2 i took out fuse nr 23
and i was getting fault code on N75 and N80 and no turbo charging.
Why
Look at the tech pages on http://s2central.net for a description of all fuses on S2/RS2 - yours will be same as ABY engine.
One fuse covers N75 - the WGFV - and without that you get no ECU controlled boost... Seen more than one car present itself after trips to 'experts' who could not explain why the car would not boost with this fuse blown !
Thats the one... Only comes on after a hot run (key off) when sufficient heat soak triggers the switch - the rad fan comes on as well.
The only other time you will hear the pump is when you 1st turn on the ignition key - that little whirring noise (which lots of people assume is the fuel pump priming) - is the afterrun pump getting a test before the engine starts. Don't believe me then have a friend turn on the key while you hold a hand on the pump - you'll feel it whirring !
Paul, does it really only run with the rad fan ? Just in 10 years of ABY/ADU ownership I have only ever tripped the rad fan to come on after a run once ! Does that mean the pump just self tests & b*gger all else ??

Yes, I think it only runs when the engine is left very very hot!

There has never been fuses in nr5 and nr 20 as long i had this car.
Should i put new fuses in?
I never had touble with the radiator fan
I have now a new nachlaufpumpe\after run pump and the pump take a 4seconds test
when ignition is switch on.
