Looks like I have ordered the wrong ones Arrrrrrrrrrggggggggggh....

I did find some of the info on this thread a bit confusing...
This is a reply I got from the peeps I have ordered the HID kit from....
Thank you for your purchase.
Audi S2 (B4) have two different headlight settings: H4 (single headlight)
and H1/H4 (double headlight).
We have no idea which ones are installed on your vehicle.
Next possible issue is with single headlight: as I remember you have a buzzer
in dashboard which buzzzzzz when one of the bulbs is blown this will happen
with with H4 Bi-Xenon kit.
If you have ripped it off then H4 Bi-Xenon kit is will be fine.
If not I would recommend H4 HiH/LoX kit (xenon bulb on main dipp beam, halogen on main)
Twin headlight: this kit is not suitable as you need H1 kit.

Hope this helps other members!!!

Like most thing in life; its always simple - when you know the answer!!!!
I did some surfing and went to a number of sites inc the Philipps own side which gives all the bulb options and the i got back from most of them was that the Coupe/Quattro cars use H4's & thats why I ordered them....
But as we can now see that this info is INCORRECT....

Thanks

Well that makes sense to me... sorry you ordered the wrong ones - always wise to check the forum before ordering anything you aren't 100% sure about. Most things are BTDT by somebody now...Paul Nugent

Hi Paul,
Its not a problem, the guys I used to order them have come back with the info I posted earlier and they have amended my order to the H1 kit...
So it all gonna be OK!!!

As some of you from reading my thread that I am un happy with the Xenon H3 Bulbs I've fitted due to them still being yellowish in colour....

I wondered if anybody has tried these H3 12 LED's in the Fogs
Linky
I know acidburn & Jas11 have used the H3 HID kit's but these seem to be a Dam sight easier to fit!!!!
Question is do they look similar to the HID's?Comment

Don't ask me how much I have spent on lighting for my S2.
£100 sounds like not a lot.
How old are your headlights?SSComment

That figure has now trippled
when I add on the new fog's & another set of bulbs (LED's), indicators etc etc....

Must take a
before the BM forecloses!!!
