andy - jas11n did this on sooty and converted them over to rhd - they are now on knight rider s4's coupe, he wrote in the sooty thread how to do it (think it was more indepth on audifans tho) -

Cheers Pete, I found Jason's write up on Audi Fans, but now I've seen them on a car I'm not so sure. Like some others on Fans, I was hoping that the silver trim round the indicators could be removed to be blacked out, but it sounds like it can't.sigpic

I only really bought them to satisfy my curiosity. You can listen to everyone else saying they look pants, but you don't know until you actually stick your neck out and buy a set.
And I was determined to convert them.
In the end, I didn't hate them, they just didn't fit in with the whole point of the TDi project.
Steve likes them, that's all that matters

Oh, they do have one very big plus point.
The light output from them is miles ahead of standard (non HID'd) ellipsoids and a lot better than 3B and early ABY reflectors.
HID'd, I'd imagine they show you the way to the moon.2001 Avus Silver B5 RS4.

I think there ok, I just converted and fitted a pair of these headlight to my 94 S2 avant!! took me about 2 1/2 hours per light to convert them!! then i went totaly mad and fitted them with a 50watt 6000k hid conversion and they are damn bright.. Very happy!!!
