OBC Display cracked

My onboard computer display is cracked as some of them do. Has anyone ever just changed the lcd display with something from maplins etc

It sames a shame to just bin it and fit another complete computer on the back of the clocks.

If it's not possible does anyone have one for reasonable money?

I might have one spare, i'll check tonight.

I was just wondering this and if that its possible to get at it to solder a new one on.

You don't need to solder them in or out, they are held in place with a little black plastice frame. You just need to be very careful when removing the frame.

where do you get them from?

You can can only get them from other OBC units as they aren't available as a separate part I'm afraid.
