Hi Acidburn, what sort of money would want for a pre-select motor?

Can someone sell me a switch please? I think it is that at fault as some positions on the switch does not opperate the roof at all.

Sounds like the switch alright. You can dismantle the switch and clean the contact track with some electrical cleaner, i did that with mine and it worked fine again. You can do it without removing the switch from the trim panel as the top of it is only clipped on.

I have a 5-page FFP for the pre-select sunroof... I can scan it over the weekend, but meantime here is the important bit ---

"After the sunroof motor and control unit have been assembled together, the motor must be set to the 0 position before installing onthe vehicle. Connect all electrical wiring."

                KEEP THE IGNITION KEY OFF

"Then set sunroof control switch to position 2. The sunroof motor goes to 0 position automatically when the ignition is switched on. Then install the motor in the vehicle"
