    Rev counter

    Hi all,

I'm looking at buying an S2 which has a broken rev counter, the seller has plugged in a set of clocks from an audi 80 and the rev counter works. So the assumption is that it is just the rev counter that is broken.

So my question is, can the rev counter be taken out of one set of clocks and put into the another set? This would save on replacing the whole set etc. Or would it be safer to just get a new set of clocks? If so where could I get one from?

    Thanks in advance,

    Will

You can buy the rev counter seperately or get one from a spare cluster.

Clusters do come up cheap from time to time.

I've yet to hear of one going wrong tho, only thing I found with my s2 was it was useless at keeping up
