    Replacement electric pins for connectors

Hi need to change some wire outer casing on my injection cables as they are very brittle

Is it possible to buy the pins for the fuel injection connectors & also the grimp tool

    Thanks Wayne

You can buy the pins attached to a repair loom. The cable only comes in yellow now. I found the insert inside the 2 pin electrical connector becomes very brittle, so it may be worth getting a set of those too, P/Ns 000 979 133 for a piece of 1mm cable with a terminal each end, and 443 906 232 for the connector housing.

I did have a thread on here with more details, but is seems to have disappeared.

Nope. Go back about 4 more years.

I had to replace a few of my injector plugs as they were falling apart causing a misfire.

That'll teach me to read the post properly instead of skim reading.

Looks like the old thread has been deleted.
No worries Rob, at least that link may be of use if Jade just wants to remove the old pins and replace with new.

Thanks for the info, so its not possible to buy connectors ready to be crimped. so it looks like i will need to splice the wire in to loom then.

              Cheers
