The Autocheck in my 100 S4 seems to have expired. I'm getting nothing on it when the car starts, and the speed warning no longer works. Very occasionally on a cold/damp morning (not had many of those lately!) it will work fine, but it vanishes within a few minuntes. Everything else on the cluster works fine, including the on-board computer (MPG, boost, etc.).
I've had the cluster out and disconnected and reconnected all the multi-plugs but to no avail.
Any suggestions as to what may be wrong? Does it sounds like an obvious component failure?What are the options for (cheap!) repair?
