    Air-Con just stopped working. Help!

    Hi,

My ABY Avant has had no problems at all in keeping me cool for the past couple of years but yesterday there was no marked cooling provided by the air-con. I press the button, the switch lights up and their is the feint whirring of a blower starting up but the drop in revs at tick-over plus the sound of a harder-working engine are missing. I've checked the fuses and all seems fine (please point me in the direction of the specific fuse).

Any ideas where the problem may lie? Do I just need the system servicing?

    Cheers

yep a leak sounds like your problem the gas has escaped and the low pressure switch is stopping the clutch on the compressor enjaging. you can get small bottles of gas in halfords for a quick fix but a trip to the air con garage people is on the cards.
never set your expectations to high that way you are never disapointed
