    Hi all

    I am needing your assistance,those with the magic software.......

    Whlie working on the wiring in on my project,i was looking for certain items,was getting peeved i could find what i was looking for.

    The lovely wife after hearing me say to my self i cant find anything,decided to help me while i was at work ,cleaned up my work area,and put all items in a box
    I didnt note on paper where relays went and location,and now in a bind as she put the relays in a box with others.....

    Hoping if i supplied relay part numbers and their numbers can i be informed their function and location....thanxs

        Oh god - that is almost funny... Hope you get the puzzle back together again.

        What year TDi is that John - I have nothing here that will help directly - actually the old diesels have some funky relay locations for a few things.
        There will be some generic things though for wipers, foglights etc

            John,

            Seeing as the model year is same as my Coupe - I'll try to sneak out here this morning and note some relay numbers for you - my footwell trim is already off so should only take a few minutes.

            What engine is yours - 1Z ?

              Here goes... cross checked between my two 80 platforms as much as possible.

              MAIN fusebox positions 1-11 but note the diesel won't use all of these.

              1 = 204 (Foglights)
              2 = 214 (UNKNOWN - dunno why my S2 has this one)
              3 = 214 (fan Lo speed)
              4 = 275 (Headlight washers)
              5 = 213 (X-Relief)
              6 = 214 (cabin fan)
              7 = 204 (Horn)
              8 = 204 (or a jumper bridge)
              9 = 197 (S2) or 229 (V6) ---- 197 has the variable intermittent wipe capability
              10= 208 (fuel pump)
              11=214 (fan - Hi 1 speed)

                For the AUX positions at the footwell... Without a diagram its harder to explain these. Fuggit - easier to draw it.

                      Just curious..

                      Picking this up again,

                      Does anyone have an idea what relay # 76 controls? It sits on just above the bonnet opener on the driver side, with a 10A fuse.
