The ones on front wing... Had both of them dangling out of the V6Q with broken aftermarket lenses - the fried egg look - not cool...
Anyway - sourced a couple of spares from a 1992 80 that was being broken - and figured 1 minute maximum to swap the lenses over... Oh no - that would be much too simple.
The connector hoods on my car did not match those from the donor - even though they are both 1992 Audi 80 models - very bizarre... I should have photo'd it, but the factory orange lenses have two little tabs that slide into slots in the housing... These slots dont exist on my housings.
So for an easy life I just cut the oddball housing of my loom and set about splicing in the right ones for the orange lenses... Bit fiddly as you need to be careful the cable assembly doesn't fall back into the wing - ending up crimping them together nicely with two layers of heatshrink for good measure.
So I have street legal indicators now - wahey !
Had no idea there was different variants on these - cannot see it on family album.
