So its just side lights he hasnt got? Time for the multimeter, check fuse, check switch, relays etc. Dont ask me where though, the wiring is a nightmare in these cars...

there special arent they, i'm convinced each car was built differently depending on who put it together in the factory. Nothing matches the Bentley manual, and every panel and trim piece you remove has a relay behind it.

I played hunt the cruise control brain for hours the other day and gave up, god knows where they put it. The best bit is it only works when the interior of the car is warm. ...just like the heater

Not done a clutch on one of these, i would bet its a lot easier than an S2. Lots more room around the engine bay..

Paul is yer man, i would expect all the components are the same if not similar, just hidden so you cant find em...

The fuse panel that you need on a C4 is located at the end of the dash. For a left hand drive car, it's at the left end of the dash. Use the "map" below to figure out which fuse has blown. (Note: Fuses typically blow because there is an issue so you might still have to figure out the real problem after replacing the fuse).

Is it an avant, if so check the wiring at the tail gate hinge,it is on the near side of a right hand drive car, a rubber boot that you can peel back. This was the problem on my car.

                  Sorted

it was the levers at the steering wheel that was broken
