Need YOUR help to solve a puzzle here

For S2/RS2 owners only - and engine type - LHD or RHD...

I need PRIVATE replies on this one please and I'll need to know your car's model year as well. I have a big electrical anomolie that I am trying to resolve.

Step 1 - Look in your main fusebox and see if you have a relay in position 8 (eight). If you don't have a relay here then just ignore this message !

Step 2 - If you do... and with reference to pages 10 or 11 of this doc (http://www.s2central.net/S2_Schemati...tic_Primer.pdf)... 8mm socket required to remove the trim above the drivers pedals and look at your auxiliary relay panel - tell me (PRIVATELY) what relays you have fitted in the bottom row. Or better - just send a pic of it to S2central@mac.com.

Reason being that none of the factory schematics I have seem to align with reality on RHD - and I'm trying to see if they are at least correct for LHD. Darn Audi and their flaky electrical docs

    Thanks in advance,

    Paul

Paul. Just to clarify, according to the fuse box cover this relay should be " control unit shift lock " ( correct ? ).

    Regards James.

Ok, but counting off the actual relays can be confusing - hence the clarification. Good luck solving the mystery.....
