    Alternator problems!

    It seems as though i might have a problem with my alternator. I will know for definate soon. So i am looking at sourcing a second hand unit as cash is a little low at the moment (still saving for a house ) Does anyone know what alternator i should be going for, mine is a 1993 ABY S2? Will an AAN alternator fit or a 3b? I have air con to,thanks.
    3'' Longlife Exhaust, Koni Adjustables, H&R Springs, Full RS2 Setup with Mr Nugents RS2 Chips (just need the RS2 Airbox)

    A 3b alternator will bolt on if the pully is swapped but it's only a 90amp. Not sure how the car would cope with that tho. Can't say for sure about the ANN but would hace thought it would be the same as ABY, but like i say can't say for sure as i've never seen one in the flesh let alone tried to fit one.

      The aan one doesnt fit mate, iirc you need a 120amp aby one as youve got a/c. Did you pm Sal?
