After seeing Stevieyid's post about his alternator going belly up it reminded me.
I bought a new lucas alternator from a motorfactors a few months back after mine went belly up. It looked totaly different as the cooling fan was internal and it had (and still has ATM) a wider pully by about 2 groves.
It bolted on no worries and works a treat but is very close to the intercooler, infact it shaved a bit off it
. Has anyone had the same problem?
