Something that has annoyed me about a whole host of 80's/90's VAG cars is the method of activating the rear wiper. You only get the choice of intermittent or off. I never leave it on intermittent, so every time I want to wipe the rear screen I have to hit the wiper switch twice!
I'd be much happier with a "flick wipe" type of activation, much like the front, where you push the wiper stalk down and release to wipe once.
Is this likely to be a simple relay change or something more in depth? If it helps, I've already disconnected the rear washer pump and removed the bottle.
