Afternoon folks. Just had my car in for a Finnish MOT and all was well apart from forgetting to move the fog light over from right to left. I've now done this physically but it's not working. Any idea if I need to do something electrically? (bulb is def fine by the way)
I need this sorted to redo the MOT and get road legal so it's very urgent if anyone has a clue?
cheers

I ended up tracing the fog bulb holders to the grey wires with white stripes and pulling the interior apart. I spliced a new wire onto that grey/white wire on the right side and across to the left, where I cut the existing grey/white wire and connected the new one i'd run across. So now both sides work and I can keep a bulb just in the side I need.
Peter in Stirling Audi confirmed that it may be possible to enable both sides via diagnostics but I've saved myself a very long conversation with a Finnish Audi servicing dept and I got to wave a handful of gizmos, like the gas soldering iron, at my missus as if it justified taking the rest of the mountain of tools, wires etc.
