Hey everyone
I made a conversion in my coupe to a ann engine and i brought a harness from germany and its a RS2,,, I need someone to help me label the additional relays.. please see picture:
I was at adams garage yesterday. The reason why he's posting this is because the RS2 harness has a few extra relays vs the ABY S2 harness I owned at one point and we're not exactly sure what those extra relays are for since there is little documentation about them.
Anyone want to help us out figure what the extra relays are for in a RS2 engine harness? I was thinking it might be part of an immobilizer setup?
I chose not to choose life: I chose something else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who need reasons when you've got quattro?
I am pretty sure these will be for IMMO integration... I don't want to divulge much in public. I will need to know part number on the RS2 loom first of all to confirm - I have the schematics needed to finish this up.
thank you paul... I would love to give you the part number but i didn't see one on the harness itself... I tried looking for it before i installed it..
Email is best for this - S2central@me.com - goes straight to my iphone
Does your car have the factory IMMO - I am guessing not, but is no problem as I know how to wire up the RS2 IMMO relays to make them happy... or bypass them. You will of course need a NON-IMMO ECU to make this puppy run.
