  • Oil temp sender??

Anyone got any idea where the oil temp sender unit is? (or alternatively where the oild temp gauge gets it's reading from?)

Mine is doing some strange things of late and I would like to check it out.

    cheers

cant remember weather its the one next to the crank pully or the one on the side of the block underneath the presure sender and your knock sensors on the left hand side of the engine looking from the front

The oil temp sender is on the bottom of the oil pump and is actually part of the pressure relief valve.

Im gonna scratch it at the next meet or write something on it. I may just dribble some oil on it Sorry Captain bling, but that look sso nice and tidy. Shame you have to put it in the car and use it!! LOL. In 2 weeks of use it will be covered in **** and crud and it will look about 10 years old again.
