    Battery drain issue

I have a URS4 with a battery issue. It goes flat overnight if I don't disconnect it. It seems to be charging okay and Ive put a new battery on but it didn't help. Any ideas? I sometimes here a clicking noise under the dash when everything is switched off, sounds like a relay so was wondering if that might be the source of the power drain.

Also when I disconnect the battery the terminal is very warm - is this normal?

It Sounds like you have a short to ground. The relay that is clicks could well be a clue to which circuit is at fault. I would identify this relay first and then determine which circuit it belong too. Then remove the fuse from this circuit and check for a high current drain.

If this doesn't identify the faulty circuit then you would need to remove each fuse in turn and check for a source of high current draw.

my mate had and urs4 with this fault. the previous owner had fitted a cut off switch near the back seat as it went flat overnight. the relay in question was the big one. like 3 in 1. the realy is under the cover nexst to the door in the footwell.
