    One Touch Electric Window

Strange . Driving to work this morning I lost my one touch window down on the drivers side window! The window goes up and down as normal, but when you try the one touch it moves about half an inch or so, then just stops. Is this on a seperate relay/fuse? any idea's?

    Cheers

The electric window and sun roof control unit runs all the windows and the one touch system. It's a double relay at the top of the relay plate under the dash. It sounds like the one touch section has packed up.

Inside the control unit there are a couple relays that control the power to the one touch setting and to the 8 second delay after the ignition is switched off.

When I bought mine the one touch didn't work and the windows were live all the time. The relays had both failed so the previous owner had hard wired the window circuit to terminal 30 (always live)

I replaced the control unit and repaired the wiring and it all works again. If you buy the earlier control unit you should have one touch up as well.

      Hi Ben,

where is this control unit located?
My windows are alive always asswell.

Yesterday my windows where not working (switch wasn't lit either)
After pushing "driverswindow down" the switches were lit again and the windows went down.
When coming up again at the "end-stop" the window stopped and the light went out again. Then again no function.
Pushing "drivers window down" again the lights went on again and the window functioned again.

      Any ideas?
      Thanks

The control unit is in the relay panel behind the drivers side tray. It is the big double relay near the top.
