Sigma alarm - remote fob programming?

I have a Sigma alarm on my S2 which i think is as old as the car, so early 90s.

My ONLY remote fob is damaged and no longer attaches to my keyring...

Does anyone know if I can programme another Sigma fob to work with my alarm.

The car alarm people tell me this type is well out of manufacture, but what about this one on ebay:

It is the same shape etc. Would it work??

      Where's The Alarm Box???

UPDATE... and NEW QUESTION at end..

Ok managed to buy a brand new Sigma fob, years old but never been used, for £30.

Identical to my original AC38 type.

It turns out you CAN programmes new ones:
1- if your alarm system has a keypad, you can use that (mine does not)
2- you can get a car alarm company to plug into the dashboard alarm LED light (no, really it's amazing) and use that to access the alarm system and programme a new fob. Sadly in my case they think the LED is so old that it no longer does this properly, so I'll need to fit a new LED.

NEW QUESTION.. where will i find the alarm box, and what should it look like?? There's so much wiring under the dash I don't know where to start!
