I wonder if anyone please can help me with this problem; the heater-fan will not blow on full speed when i set it to, on my S2 3B with AC. Well, the AC is away now, but it worked anyway before even without the AC compressor. Can anyone tell me where to look for faults ? I have checked the fuses, but did not find anything there. Is there a relay that I can try to replace?
There is no relay specific to the heater fan motor.
Could do with a little more detail to try and help you. If you removed the air-con, what wiring was removed? When you say the motor doesn't run at full speed do you mean the motor runs slow or doesn't run at all when you select full speed? What does the fan motor do on the other speed settings?

Sorry, my english aint what it once was
The fault came when I took out the control panel. Sometimes it starts to run, and sometimes not. The fault comes and goes. The motor does not run at all when I select full speed. The previous owner removed the AC but everything worked back then, so the fault has come after I took the control panel out of the dash. I am going to check the connection on the back once more, but I just wanted to hear if it was a relay or something that I could check first.
The wiring diagrams wwith all the details are on S2central.net.
+12v comes through fuse S17 and goes to the +ve connection on the fan motor. The -ve connection on the fan motor goes to the rotary fan speed switch which in full speed mode connects the fan motor straight to earth. For the other speeds, the fan switch connects the -ve terminal of the fan motor to earth via differing resistors in the fan speed control resistor pack.
If the fan motor is fine in slow speed modes, but won't work at full speed, the most likely problem is in the fan switch.
You could also try connecting the fan motor -ve terminal directly to earth and seeing if you get full speed fan. This way you've bypassed the fan switch to see if it's faulty.
Had another thought. As you could have a LHD car, what sort of air-con did the previous owner remove. Was it manual air-con or digital climate like the unit in my avatar?

Thanks John! I will try go check the things you told me and get it sorted.
The unit I have is not like yours. Its the older model. I couldt find a picture of it. There is also a light that blinks when I drive the car, in the climate control panel. I can not see the outside temp. anymore either, it says -09 all the time.
