    Dashboard Instrument Bulbs

I've got a couple of blown dashboard bulbs (the orange ones with the red rubber sleeves) so went out to buy them today. Hunted high and low but nobody has them including GSF, ECP and Halfords. Ebay just have the dodgy LED stuff.

Thankfully the stealers have them...at £4.70 a bulb!!

Is that the going rate or can I get them cheaper from anywhere?
I've read in some old threads that they're available from all good auto parts shops very cheap. Any help appreciated in getting hold of some.

    Cheers

      maybe here

Replacement Dashboard & Panel Bulbs for Cars. A wide range of high qaulity OEM replacement and upgrade bulbs available here.

I think the dash has 1.1W 12V bulbs, but 1.2W is ok but dont use 2W.

Good link alright... plenty of choices there and as said - don't be tempted for 2W bulbs - look carefully on the base of the dead bulb for its rating.

Why are these 14v? Will it make a difference?
My current ones are Osram 12v 1.1.w. The red sleeve should hopefully come off without ripping.

The bulbs will generally get something more like 14V when the engine is running so I wouldnt worry about that.
