Towbar electrics and autocheck help please

Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me if the autocheck system will continue to work correctly if tow bar electrics are connected directly to the rear light clusters, or will it say a bulb is out?

If direct connection does not work, what is the answer? Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a relay or something?

Autocheck will be fine with a correctly wired trailer socket as per those diagrams.

A quick search online will get you generic diagrams for standard 6-pin (and other) trailer sockets... All you need is side lights (plus numberplate), brake lights & indicators. Reverse lights are optional.
