    under bonnet light

learnt something new last night after 10 years of owning the car I thought for years that the light unit was fubbar'd and never thought much more about it. Last night however while tinkering in the fading light i switched on my sidelights while i screwed in the last of the bonnet lining and happened to slide the light switch and tada it DOES work

    Learn something new every day.....

Anyone remember that episode of Top Gear a good few years back, where they got cash to purchase a cheap car and do a few tasks? You know the score, they either get points or have them deducted.
          Clarkson got a B3 (think it was a B3) 80 saloon.

Went through the tasks, and later on one of them was to see what was still working or not. They deducted points cause the under bonnet light wasn't working.
I was sitting there shouting, "you need your sidelights/headlights on"

              Me too, sad eh

Following on from your interior lights thread, I've changed the bulb in mine for a multi LED one, big improvement.
