    Computer Check

    Hi
Wonder if anyone can help. The instrument warning light on the drivers dash used to clear with the !OK! sign when I switched on the ignition. Now it shows I have a blown bulb? I have gone all over the car and all bulbs are operational, ie: indicators, brake lights, rev lights, and the obvious number plate lights, but all are working. Is there anyway to clear this? or reset it somehow.

    Thanks in advance

Do you have HID's fitted? Some people have had problems with autocheck errors after fitting HIDs, hence the "K-Pin mod" to disable it.

The error should go away by itself, or by switching the ignition on/off again.

Just in case, you do know you have to press the brake pedal for the system to say ok?

      HI
No I don't have HID's fitted, not that I'm aware of anyway.
I will be replaciing the centre aux dial facias shortly, so I will check the bulbs on them, although I'm not sure they are part of the same circuit.

      Thanks

Stupid question, does it say OK after you have pressed the brake pedal?

Yeah, I have a number of dash builbs that have been out for a while and no auto check. The AC checks the front and rear light circuits, not the interior. Might have corrosion on the rear light holders, quite a common issue.
