non working coupe windows n roof

Got in the car to go to a show on Sunday, nice n warm so open the windows? No chance! Windows n roof not working, fine night before, only happens typically on hot days.
relays or fuses? Have heard thermal fuses being mentioned-what s likely problem chaps?

I have kinda the same problem sometimes. Mine do it when you have just fired up, after a few mins they work? I'm going to take the door card off this weekend and have a look for a lose connection. If I slam my door they work again sometimes?????? It's a pain in the hot weather we've been having.
Just some finishing touches to do now

It's either that - a faulty thermal fuse - or the other common problem is a break in the connections to the double sized sunroof and window relay that lives in the aux relay panel above the driver's footwell.

If you remove the relay and its case you can resolder the circuit board where the connection blades attach to it and all will be well again.

I also had this and it was a dry joint in the relay

Course went to check today and windows/roof worked fine. Still swapped the thermal fuse n relay ( I found I ve got 4 of them!)
Stripped the door down and greased the window cbales and runners.
Cleaned the contacts on switches and plugs
All ok and lots quicker now
Fingers crossed when its hot that all ok
Bloody central locking stopped working on Disco driver s door tonight! ******!
