  • Sensible 12V Source for Boost Gauge Illumination

I'm locating my boost gauge in the tray that is under the steering wheel. Should be able to get a nice row of gauges in there which maintains my desire for the car to remain a "sleeper"!

Whilst the tray is down I'm gonna hook up the MIL circuit a la Paul N's WWW pages on S2Central.

    I'm good at following instructions!

But out of the mass of wires under the steering wheel, is there an easy 12V source for my boost gauge illumination? I just need to find the instrument cluster illumination circuit I guess....

    Cheers.

best bet would be to use a source from one of the other 3 gauges down in the centre console for this job.

OR even easier tap from glovebox ilumination by swich as this also carries feed but dont be surprised if you blow fuse unless really careful

OR even easier from the yellow connection point with yellow/black wire from the indash relay panel.
