My rear washer motor stopped working recently so I thought I'd take a look at the weekend. I got it working again by giving it a few taps.....but ended up with an empty washer bottle & wet trunk after the washer hose spigot snapped off. I guess it must have weakened when I removed the hose or when I was putting the washer bottle back. Doh!
since i had it the rear window spray didnt work, then recently my front washer spray stopped working, and now today my front lights spray has stopped...
do all of these sprays have different motors? could it be that in the space of 2 days my window and lights motor died?
erm.. very strange but my headlamp washers have started to work again, but still no window screen washers :/
blocked pipes? what could it be ?
hi there,
The pipes are prone to blowing orff cos o water pressure. I would check to see if when you activate the washer, you see any leaking anywhere in and around the car.
I am assuming the motors work as you can usually hear them whirring away.
When i bought mine, noticed the previous owner removed the fuse for the rear washer - when i replaced this i found out why.......the pipe leak was squirting into the f...ing interior. Ended up being a dislocated pipe to a 'T' adapter.
