The stalk or the relay?

This thread is non-S2 but for my A3 (Type 8L).
My left / right indicator seems to light-up intermittently. I read some threads about the Relay that is combine with the hazard light switch. Yesterday, the indicators does not seem to work at all. I tried sort of things but does not seem to make sense . The hazard is working, bulbs are fine, parking light left / right seem to work, but the indicators left / right does not seem to function at all when trying the stalk. Could it be the indicator stalk? But if it is, should the parking light not work too? How about the relay?

9 times out of 10 it is the hazard switch. The flasher relay is built into the back of it.
