RHD ABY Coupe battery cable routing

Soon to be deleted the battery tray in my coupe and moving the battery to my ABY battery box under the rear seat
I've got the fat cable that runs to the starter motor - am i right in thinking that it runs across the rear bench area, down the drivers side of the car, through the bulkhead around the pedal box area and down the chassis rail to the starter?
Am i also right in thinking there is another (red) cable that runs from the battery to the fuse box? Where does this cable run - does this run down the drivers side too?
I wiill need to make this up myself - anyone tell me the right gauge cable to use for this?

    Cheers guys

          .

Same size as the original cable? Your 'loses' aren't going to change that much for the extra few feet.

          Still no post...

Good question, i know the longer the cable run the larger the diameter you should use. There are charts of voltage vs length vs amps to work out the correct gauge wire. I think the key value to work out is how many amps a starter draws while cranking, then think of a worst case scenario of cranking with lights and other elecy bits on to give a good safety margin. If it overheats and melts the insulation things will get ugly real fast.

i got the starter cable dude, i just need to make up the feed to the fuse box - as Carlos says i guess its only a tad longer than the run from the battery traay in the engine bay
