Maf repair

I remember reading about a bloke who could repair ones off porsche 928s cheaply by fitting a new wire(on the ones that had snapped)

I dare say most owners of 20vt have had failed mafs over the years and possibly have their old ones laying around still,i have a few myself.

Just wondered if anyone knew of someone who can repair them??maybe we could have a 'group repair' of all the old knackered ones loafing around

Bosch do "remanufacture" them, i have one i bought on ebay with no Audi part number on it, just the Bosch one. Worth asking a Bosch reseller if they can do exchange deals.

they do for the 1.8t that im sure of. no reason ours should be any different...famous last words.
