    Slow rear wiper...S2Estate

Well, I call it slow, it's more 'random' than always slow... But it isn't happy?

Searched 'Slow rear wiper' and came up with nothing, but I'm sure there's something somewhere on it...

Any hints in general directions appreciated...

Strip down the wiper motor and remove the old grease and repack it with fresh stuff.

Thank you sir... This'll explain why it's worse the colder the weather is... At the moment it's not too bad, but before Christmas, in our cold spell, it was almost useless...

I see a weekend project coming...

        Thanks

Nice one Rob, been moaning that my wipers seem slow, I guess the grease has gone all waxy. Can you recommend what to repack with? Normal lithium grease?

Hmm good question Alex, I'll need to check the garage shelf to remind myself what I used.

edit: Castrol LM grease I think it was (which is a lithium grease). I'll confirm that for you though...

Check the relay & the wiring that goes between the car & the tailgate...

Okay, I checked this morning, I used Castrol LM grease for this.
