    Headlight problem

I have aset of ellipsoids fitted with hid bulbs in place. The nearside bulb blew so I purchased a new set, installed it the same way the other one was and hey presto, still not working! I swapped the ballasts to rule that out, defo not that. The side light works so I presume the headlight is getting power from the main connector. Anything else I can check? Not very good with electrics if you hadn't guessed!

Check the fuse for the headlight (S11 iirc), they are fused individually. Just because the sidelight is working, it doesn't mean the headlight is getting power, they have seperate wiring.

The wiring diagrams are available on S2central.net

im digging at the headlights at the moment too (ellipsoids, hids) for a similar symptom.
My drivers side has gone dim and the autocheck has come up with bulb failure but the light still comes on just a bit low.
Changed the bulb and ballast for new like for like and wire brushed all contacts/earth of corrosion. No joy still autochecks not happy and headlight dim. Was fine for a year and the previous kit was in there two years....

Mine was a fuse! Bulb went and seem totake the fuse with it. Isn't there a autocheck mod that could help you? Bad earth maybe?
