Strange indicator fault

Couple of times last week I had the offside indicator flashing rapidly. The first time I thought it was a blown bulb, but then it started working again. Then I thought it must be a loose connection.

Went out to have a look at it before and tried moving the connector on the front bulb with the ignition on, this being the one that wasn't working. No joy. I then switched the ignition off and happened to notice the parking light was on. Then I tried the hazards, offside front not flashing.

Can anyone give me an idea where to start looking. Where does the parking light wiring take over from the indicator wiring?

Nonsense like this is usually a chassis ground problem. I'd be tempted to nip round the lot with a bit of emery.
