Trip computer

I've got a mate who is upgrading from a 2.0L 8v coupe to a CQ20v and he's asked if the trip computer was standard in this model?
My old CQ20v had one, my old 2.3e that my dad bought from new got it as an optional extra and the wife's B4 80q hasn't got one, not even the autocheck.
He's viewing a car tomorrow and was just wondering whether to expect this or not.

Ive seen a couple which didnt have it, so think it was optional

Standard only on s2. Other models had it as an option. Not totally sure about later v6s and some market areas but in europe this should be right.
