    What should I do

I have an aan, loom and ecu from a s6 auto that I want to put into my typ85 90, what is the easiest way to wire it up? Also will the ecu being from an auto make any difference? It has been chipped by mtm 265hp

If it has properly been chipped with autobox software, yes it will make a difference, because it will have a 6600 rpm rev limiter and less torque, plus also the warmup and idle setting differences needed for the autobox.
You can easily test that by seeing if the car revs over 6600. It is always possible that the auto ecu was chipped with manual box chips, and in that case everything is fine.

If it does peg at 6600 rpm, I can send you exactly the same chipset but for manual box, or something better...

This is of course once you wire it all up and get it running

Yea, then it probably does have auto software.
But nevertheless - test, you never know

Either way, it's pretty easy to get it sorted out, much less of a job than getting the AAN in there and wired up.

So a lhd aby loom will suit my rhd typ85 90? Will the aby loom work with the aan ecu?

Consider the different ECU, instrument (and fusebox?) locations. I have a RHD loom in my LHD B4, and the ECU is gaffa'ed to the aux. fuse thingie under the steering wheel, because the wires are too short to reach the right footwell. Some wires on the other hand is waay too long. You are going to have the opposite problem.

In the Enginge compartment you might need some extensions for brake res. wires and others - not too bad, I think.
            Cheers, Torben

Better to get RHD AAN loom I think, so that everything fits.
Should not be hard to find.

lhd aby loom is the best choice into a t85 as it is shorter than a rhd loom so you don't need to coil up the extra cable to the ecu(just done the same on my t85 90q) and yes the aby loom will work fine with aan ecu.

Although if using an AAN engine you will have to lengthen a few wires in the engine bay if using a aby loom

How hard is it to get a lhd aby loom and how much should I expect to pay, also do the aby have immo's as my aan does

shoudn't be too hard, there ought to have been a lot more lhd than rhd made. They come up from time to time on ebay.de,and it depends on part number of ecu as to whether it came with immo or not.I believe it was around late '94 when immo was introduced, immo and non immo looms are slightly different
