    I use these as replacements:

More powerful than the standard pump as well.

Arn't these always gear pumps? My urs4 stock pump was also a gear pump.

It is not 100% plug and play, it is thinner than stock pump, and you might have to re-solder the leads, but it is cheap, reliable and more powerful than the original.

Do these pumps click into the S6 basket? I saw your post about maybe have to modify wiring, but what about sitting in the tank?
I think I need a new pump soon. Mine is audible outside the wheel well and the car is coming up on 150,000kms.
When I change the pump, I will probably also go for the fuel pump relay kit.

They are smaller than the OEM pump, so you will need to put something gasoline resistant around the pump or modify the basket.
The wiring depends, some cars I have seen already had the new style wiring, others not, but you get everything you need with the pump.
