cker and I cant find the problem, so I thought I'd buy some vagcom gear i.e some cables that came with a cd off ebay, thinking the cd was the program or whatever? i dont know I'm not clever enough with computers? I just read I needed these cables and bought them, a 409.1 and a 2x2 cable, so I got them today in the post,
my brother in laws a computer whizz and installed the cables and downloaded version 1.1 from the ross tech site like it said on the instructions that uploaded from the cd, and the program that comes up on the screen is called vcds lite? we connected it to the car and it says port ok but to contact my hardware supplier cos it wont work?
can someone just tell me what I need instead? its cos I havent spent enough money isnt it
I've read some threads but its just confusing as fk cos someone says one thing and another says this thing
